(years later I ended up living next door to his favorite aunt and was mortified in case he ever showed up for a visit!). I would say that I have been held back from having relationships on the whole and also that I recognize that I also attract unlike partners. i would also attract the creepiest type of guys as a child who would flash at me or try to entice me away. Fortunately I could feel their ugly intent and get away. I also finally got involved with the least appropriate person who was a drug addict and severly mentally disturbed due to a serious head injury. This person I didn't want to stay connected to, but bit by bit was completely consumed by this relationship at the cost of EVERYTHING prior to meeting this person. A year or more after me finally leavin him, we passed each other one day and as this person walked up towards me (I was in deep conversation with my brother at the time) I thought 'what a sad sub-normal troubled looking person' and only after he had passed by a few minutes, did his name come to me and at that same point, my brother just said his name. I could not believe I had ever been attracted to him.
